Community bird guide development program

RATA recognise the important role that tourism can play in community upliftment and the potential for the hospitality industry to create employment.

Joseph Phiri is the qualified community bird guide here in the Rustenburg area. He is serious about birding and would like to show you where to find those elusive bird species. He will provide you with valuable information on this area as well as the feathered species to be found here. Qualified bird guides will offer an affordable service, they will provide improved security and valuable information on where elusive and special bird species may be found. Watch this space for “avitourism” services which will soon be available.
